3 Stages of Conflict Resolution

After many hours of waiting patiently on the grounds of her new nursing home’s, the 92-year-old woman smiled with delight when told her room was ready.
As she waited for the elevator, a nurse’s aide began to describe her room to her. “I love it,” the 92-year-old interrupted enthusiastically. “But you haven’t seen the room yet!” said the nurse’s aid. “That doesn’t have anything to do with it,” she replied. “Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time.”
“Whether I like my room or not doesn’t depend on the furniture arrangement — it’s how I arrange my mind. I have already decided to love it. It’s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. “

The third chakra is associated with externally directed power. At this level, we seek to resolve conflicts by changing our external environment, whether that be a situation or another person.
As we grow wiser, we learn that it is often better to redirect this energy to the fifth chakra, where we resolve conflict by changing our internal environment or response to the situation.
But the real magic comes when we access the seventh chakra. When the mind becomes perfectly still, it no longer distorts our perceptions of self and others. It is then that we realize that all is one and that there is no conflict to be resolved.
